Weird eerie melody – Adam Husa releases „Ganesha“ as a free download
The latest installment of our free download series welcomes Adam Husa for his first appearance: „Ganesha“.
trndmsk: What inspired you to produce the track?
Adam Husa: The first sample was recorded at a festival I was playing at in Toronto last summer, called Camp Summerdaze. I had just finished driving 8 hours from Montreal with my good friends and the car ride was an intense meeting about the events we were doing back in Montreal. Exhausted from the nonstop discussions we had, I was worried my brain was too tired and I would have not been able to give my full potential to the set I was going to play that same night. As I’m strolling through the site, I discovered there was a Cacao ceremony and sound bath by the lake and decided to sit in. It was a my first time attending a this kind of ceremony and I was speechless about the experience. I passed from being super stressed to having my mind at ease and super inspired! I was so happy that I recorded that sample, we kept playing it the whole weekend because of how ridiculously beautiful it was. The ceremony was conducted by Darren Austin Hall.
Where did you record it? And how?
The rest of the track was recorded in my studio in Montreal, I used my blofeld for the pads, my MS20 for the weird eerie melody and a mix of other synths and drum machines for the rest!
Why do you want to provide it as a free download?
I like the idea of giving away music for free, and I feel the trndmsk channel fanbase would apreciate this one.
What’s up next after the release? Are you working on any other projects?
I have many collaboration underway! I’m working with artists such as Mustafa Ismaeel, Artphorm, Pōe and more! Also doing a few remixes for artists such as Dizharmonia, Letkolben, Hot Oasis, Pōe & Lebaron. I’m also working on some solo material but nothing is scheduled to release as of yet.
